• DO NOT use undiluted essential oils on the skin. Undiluted oils can have an adverse reaction when in direct contact with skin.
• ALWAYS TEST your skin’s sensitivity to any diluted essential oil before using. Combine one drop of essential oil with ½ tsp. of a “carrier,” such as our Jojoba oil. Rub this mixture on the inside, upper portion of your arm and wait a few hours. If redness or itching occurs, do not use.
• BE CAREFUL when adding essential oils to a recipe for babies and children. As a rule, in any essential oil recipe for children, only use half of the essential oil recommended.
• AVOID contact with eyes.
• AVOID any essential oil which closely matches a food or plant you are already allergic to.
